My Story

Hi, I’m Kelsey. Wife, mom of two, chicken wrangler, bread baker, and self proclaimed friendly neighborhood witch.

Motherhood and Magic was born from the in between moments. The messy, beautiful, chaotic ones where I found myself craving connection, creativity, and a little bit of calm. Somewhere between sleepless nights, postpartum fog, and the never-ending cycle of dishes and diapers, I started to lose sight of who I was outside of “mom.”

Motherhood changed me in ways I never expected.

It changed how I see the world — made me notice the sacred in small things: a quiet cup of coffee before the house wakes, little hands tugging mine, sunlight spilling across a cluttered kitchen table. I began to remember that I mattered too — not just as a mom, but as a woman, a creator, and a soul rediscovering her magic.

These days, I find peace in my garden, tending herbs that end up in my teas, soups, or spells. I chase creativity like a cozy little rebellion — coloring books, baking, painting, or whatever new hobby has my attention this week. I’m a sucker for rainy days, strong coffee, and metal music humming through the chaos. It’s all part of the rhythm — messy, real, and a little enchanted.

I started this blog as a place for moms who are trying to find magic in the mayhem. A reminder that it’s okay to pause, to breathe, to do something just for yourself. You’ll find comforting recipes (some with herbs straight from my garden), reflections on living with more presence, and small, witchy rituals for the everyday.

I’m not here to sell perfection — just to share what feels real, rooted, and a little mystical. So, grab a mug, get comfy, and settle in.

Welcome to Motherhood and Magic — where the coffee’s strong, the vibes are witchy, and motherhood is beautifully, unapologetically messy.

Thanks for submitting!
